Intercult, executive producers of Black/North SEAS (2007-2010) are
recruiting a Technical Director, to be focused on the preparation and
realization of SEAS. It is a part-time position in the period 15
January - 31 march 2008. It is a fulltime position in the period 1 April -1
October 2008. Continuation in 2009 and 2010 by mutual agreement.
Intercult are looking for an excellent technician with international touring
experience and a strong background in either outdoor events, theatre and/or
broadcast who can adapt quickly and creatively to different conditions and
make the most of available resources. The project s working language is

Experience with outdoor events, theatre and/or broadcast * Experience in
presentation of contemporary work with high technical standards *
Leadership * Adaptable and creative * Good communicator * Good
people manager * Good delegation skills * Budgetary and financial skills
• Attention to detail * Able to spend significant periods of time on
tour * English-speaking, other languages are a merit. Salary by
agreement Black/North SEAS is funded by an EU Culture multi-annual
grant. Intercult and Partners are building an international team to deliver
the programme in 12 countries over three and a half years. Genres include
theatre, dance, visual arts, digital media, installation and music/club
work. The Black/North SEAS events take place in towns on the Black and North
Sea coasts in collaboration with local Hosts. Planned tour periods are
May-September 2008 (Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey) and May-September
2009 (Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands and UK). Dates for 2010 to be

received generous project grants through the years from The Foundation for
the Future of Culture, SIDA, The Swedish Institute, The Nordic Cultural
Fund, EU/Culture 2000 and the European Cultural Foundation (ECF).

(EFAH), Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM), Culturebase.net and
25++/initiated by CulturesFrance.
