In this new position as Tech Lead / CTO, based in Sundbyberg, you will be the leading the company's software development to new heights!

What we are looking for
Profoto is world leaders in lighting equipment, with a mission to fulfill the world best photographers need. We are currently in a transformation where our new customers are using their mobile phones as cameras and Profoto is now able to offer a complete photo solution based on Profoto camera app + connected lights. Simultaneously as the website will move to become the most important sales channel.
This force Profoto to transform the company from a hardware to a software company, where the customers' needs put requirements on the app, web services and eventually on the connected hardware. Not the other way around. You are responsible to lead this transformation.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for and lead the software development team, and manage a combination of internal and off-shored resources. You will develop and maintain processes to ensure maximum output and quality according to product road maps and various product owners requirements. An overall challenge is to get the separate development teams to work as one and apply highly agile and test-based working methods.
• Transform customer driven insights to IT system requirement, with emphasis on storage and usage of valuable customer data
• Overall architectural responsibility
• Review and feedback on code
• Technological vision and guidance
• Lead the teams and recruitment's
• Formalize the requirements and processes for the off-shore partner
• Develop and release of technical business projects.
• Act as scrum master and agile coach
Requirements
• Strong expertise in programming
• Analytical mindset, yet thriving to deliver result
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with high achieving coworkers
• Strong desire for driving and embracing change
• Strong desire to work in an international environment
• Strong architectural knowledge
• Experience as team leader
• Experience in agile development methods, Kanban and Scrum
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
