In order to strengthen the technical support activities in the electrical industry segment, we are currently recruiting a Technical Coordinator ELI to Naphthenics Technical Market Support Department who will work globally with technical support. The position is initially placed in Nynashamn, Sweden, but it may eventually be possible to work from other locations in Europe where Nynas AB has a local presence.
Key Responsibilities
As the position holder your main responsibilities will be to develop, maintain and transfer competence within the insulating oil segment. Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Support the sales organization with e.g. product and application related issues and continuously transfer new application knowledge
• Follow the technical development within the electrical industry
• Initiate product development and manage related projects
• Maintain and develop identified key contacts
• Participate in relevant committees, trade associations and other organizations to maintain a broad view of application development, competitor products and activities and application knowledge
• Participate in external communication activities together with sales representatives as planned and agreed with the Technical Manager and/or Market Manager and the Communication Manager
Candidate Profile
Experience: You should have solid experience of technical customer support activities related to behaviour of materials or technical knowledge and experience of electrical equipment and insulating oil. To do well in this position you need to have a genuine interest in becoming an expert in insulating oils.
Education: The successful candidate has an academic degree preferably in chemical engineering, material science, electrical engineering with interest in material science or equivalent.
Language: You need to be fluent in English. Fluency in German is meriting.
Personality: We are looking for someone who lives our company values of dedication, cooperation and proactivity. You need to be self-reliant and to work efficiently both independently as well as in international teams under time stress. Further on, you need to be service minded as well as logical and analytical. You should have a drive for results, a concern for doing a good job and for setting self-challenging goals. Other desirable aspects are flexibility and positive attitude to travelling and to giving verbal presentations.
