Job Description
• This assignment entails working in the Video section in Kista. Initially the work will consist of investigative work to analyze
requirements and determine the technical feasibility of proposed solutions within the video system, for a new telephone platform. The work will become more
implementation-oriented as the project progresses.
Competence
Candidates must have an engineering degree (B.Sc. or M. Sc.) within SW engineering or a similar discipline. Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years professional experience of C++ programming, Symbian OS experience is a requirement.
Candidates shall also have several years experience working with video in mobile phones or other embedded system devices. This experience should cover subjects like video playback, recording, transcoding and rendering. In addition, candidates should have at lea st 1 year of experience working with video on the OMAP 2430 and/or 3430 in combination with Symbian OS 9.x.Candidates must be senior engineers which are capable of driving technical investigations on their own.
Candidates must also be good team playe rs with attention to detail, self-disciplined, able to manage their own time and workload, proactive and motivated. Candidates shall also have good written and verbal communication skills in English. Good written and verbal skills in Swedish is a plus.
