hela Sverige We are looking for a software engineer or developer who would like to expand from a technical to a client facing role while being exposed to a wide variety of cutting-edge research projects across industries. This person would be excited about helping multi-national corporates through to mid-market and fast-growing start-ups to invest in research and development as well as sustainability initiatives. Equipped with your tech expertise, you will interact with business leaders across the Nordics in the science, engineering and tech space in a highly-dynamic and personalised role. You will be supporting companies in identifying and obtaining Innovation Incentives as well as encouraging them to invest in research and development and sustainability initiatives. In this role you can really make an impact.
The opportunity
This opportunity is ideal for a person with at least two years of experience, who wishes to expand from a technical and development role to a broad dynamic role, from engaging in client conversations to dealing with government agencies.
You will work closely with our clients, mostly senior finance and engineering/operation directors, across all sectors, with a large focus on the Tech/IT sector. By understanding our clients' projects, business models and footprint, you will work closely with funding bodies to help our clients further fund their innovation roadmap and sustainability agenda.
You will be part of a Nordic team and collaborate with our European network, that's why the role also includes travel within and outside the Nordics from time to time. At the same time, you will be part of an enthusiastic and multinational team in Stockholm.
Your key responsibilities
Interacting with clients' senior technical and engineering staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of the projects undertaken while building and maintaining relationships
Writing compelling technical project reports describing the scientific and technical activities of client projects to support their R&D claim.
Assisting with the sales process through identifying potential targets, arranging internal and external meetings and articulating the potential benefit through client meetings and proposals
Delivery of high-quality advice and solutions to major clients, ensuring management of risk and reputation.
Skills and attributes for success
The ability to swiftly adapt to and learn about different industry sectors
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members of different skill sets and across multiple countries
Strong attention to detail and first-time accuracy
Ability to manage a wide variety of meetings, from internal discussions to challenging client meetings
To qualify for this role, you must have:
A holistic experience-base in the tech space will be greatly beneficial.
Knowledge in Game Development, Telecommunications or Fintech industry is a plus
Knowledge with following technologies and their common challenges is a plus:
Cloud infrastructure design and maintenance
Machine learning and artificial intelligence
Relational and non-relational databases
A university degree in a related field of study.
Fluent written, spoken and conversational English. Working grasp of the Swedish language is beneficial
