The Work You'll Do
As a Technical Consultant you will work cross-functionally and be responsible for managing the effective completion of day to day tactical activities needed for the implementation of Sovos solutions globally. You will work closely with external clients, delivering projects and providing technical support for Sovos SaaS products. Success will require you to work in collaboration with teams in Product Management team, Regulatory Analysis team, Product Development and Sales.
More specifically, you will:
Run packaged and well-defined Sovos projects. This includes delivering kick-off workshops, providing access credentials, reviewing design specifications and test reports, as well as drafting project documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to Sovos end-customers and partners.
Apply extensive product / technical experience to troubleshoot issues.
Lead technical related meetings with the customer as needed.
Participate in project teams and product committees
Be responsible for ensuring technical assistance and guidance for client implementations to meet quality and scope expectations
What We Need From You
Bachelor's Degree in Technology field such as information systems, computer science, software engineering or related field.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written - Fluent English essential, additional languages welcome.
1-2 years of experience in a client facing IT role and excellent customer service skills.
Technical experience with cloud-based systems and experience in how to describe complex technical systems, in conjunction with business processes and legal requirements.
Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects.
Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated track record of finishing projects on time and on budget.
Ability to travel to customer sites if required (not common, most work is done remotely).
A genuine interest in new / existing / future products and roll-outs as well as emerging technology to increase proficiency in a technical capacity.
Ability to work on multiple, complex implementation projects in parallel and to maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, commitment and commitment to action.
Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning.
General knowledge of e-invoicing, compliance and / or archiving is advantageous but not essential.
Technical competence of IT security, ERP systems, Web Services, basic programming is advantageous but not essential.
