Are you an engineer with the drive to contribute to a role where you can use your skills and interest in technology and lead improvement and implementation of new solutions? An exciting opportunity has now arisen when the Propulsion and Engines division at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn are looking for two Technical Component Managers to expand our team.
We are looking for motivated individuals who want to join us and become core members in our team of technical specialists. In this position you have the technical ownership of a specific product area, Propeller Shaft lines or Hydraulic system. You will manage the technical aspects in our Propeller Systems through the full product life cycle, such as product definition, product safety and design configurations.

Qualifications and experience
To best fulfill our needs and make this a perfect fit, we think that you have a bachelor or master's degree in a relevant field of engineering. Experience in product development is meritorious. Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, high level of English, both written and oral, is important. Communication skills in other languages is considered an advantage.
We appreciate your ability to act on own initiative and make things happen in a systematical and analytical way. Your ability to set plans, define priorities and coordinate the project to completion is under your responsibility. In this position you contribute to create a stable atmosphere where collaboration is key to succeed. Therefore, we value your personal characteristics highly and your ability to co-operate well with others, communicate, share knowledge and support your colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
