Pon Mining is responsible for sale and service of Caterpillars line of products to the mining segment. Today we operate in Sweden and Norway and are about 200 colleagues.
Pon Mining's business is to maintain service and sales of Caterpillars mining equipment.
Pon Mining are in a strong growth and Development with new deliviries of equipment in close future. This give us a requirement of new colleagues.
To our growing organisation we have the intent to increase the technical department. The position is as technical communicator that will be a complement in the department. This department's main focus is to develop, maintain and support our activity in order to full fill the contracts to our customers. The work is in the whole spectrum of the mining organisation.
Your new job
You will be responsible to give relevant technical support within the business area, in close cooperation with other specialists in the technical department. In some line of products you will be the specialist. You will also provide, produce and distribute necessary data regarding some line of products in the business area to the mechanics in the workshops or at the field.
This includes conducting some training and education in specific technical issues to our service personnel.
You will have both customer and supplier contact on a daily basis. Communication with CAT regarding technical issues is a frequent and naturally role.
In the department we work in a project environment and include you as a project manager when necessarily. You will also aid special projects with your knowledge, for example rebuild of machines etc.
Location of this position is in Malmfälten or in Boden, depending on your root of resident.
You will report to Technical department Manager.
Your experience
In order to be a part of the developing and the operations you have a significant background in technical environment.
• You have college or university degree and/or equivalent due to long experience in the field of technique.
• You are highly skilled in data and theoretical knowledge in technical systems.
• You have a long (5+year) experience of troubleshooting and repair of heavy equipment and/or mining machinery.
• You have documented technical skills in the line of heavy products.
• You have huge knowledge in English, both written and spoken. It is a benefit if you have international work experience and German knowledge

• You have an ease to learn new systems and software.
• You like to work with customers and suppliers in focus. This attribute is of important due to understanding good service.
