hela Sverige Do you want to make advanced technology easy to understand for users around the world? At Väderstad, we are now looking for a Technical Communicator who wants to create clear and user-friendly technical documentation for our innovative agricultural machinery.
About the role
The Technical Documentation team currently consists of four employees and is part of the Aftermarket department within Sales and Marketing. The team's main responsibility is to produce technical documentation for our products.
In this role, you will work closely with many colleagues across Väderstad, such as design engineers in P&D and product specialists within Aftermarket. The position is closely connected to both development and production, as all product development and manufacturing take place at our factory in Väderstad.
As a Technical Communicator, you will primarily work with text and illustrations. You will be responsible for producing and updating technical documentation, with a strong focus on manuals for Väderstad's machine range.
About you
You are structured, detail-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. You work methodically and are able to manage large amounts of information without losing sight of important details. With strong communication skills, you collaborate effectively with technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect, process, and quality-assure information. You are also flexible and solution-oriented.
We would like you to have...
Relevant education and/or experience working as a Technical Communicator, Technical Writer or Technical Information Specialist.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and the ability to write clear, structured, and target-group-adapted technical texts
Strong computer skills and experience working in different systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools
Experience with Arbortext, XML, and DITA is considered a merit, especially if you have worked in structured documentation environments. Since illustrations are also part of the role, experience with Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, and other tools within the Adobe Suite is an advantage. Additional language skills are also considered a merit.

The position is based in Väderstad, Sweden, with the possibility to partly work from our office in Linköping.
