Tinitell don't want to improve children's lives online with a great new app. They want to improve children's lives offline with a great new device.
Tinitell is a wristphone for kids. It's durable, water-resistant and designed in Sweden. Tinitell has one primary button to make calls with, and you can position it with a GPS. You manage Tinitell from a smartphone app, and it can handle multiple contacts. It's a back to basics mobile phone for kids that like to play outside!
Tinitell was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is on its way to production in China. The first batch will ship in April 2015. Tinitell is the reinvention of the walkie-talkie for the 2G cellular network, and kids is just the beginning. The company's Y1 target is 50k sold units, and Y2 target is 500k sold units.
As Technical Co-Founder you are the foundation of Tinitell's product development and production. You will work closely with the company founder to develop Tinitell and to continuosly improve and optimize the product.
You will be responsible for both the hardware and software development and lead the developers through the entire product development phase. The role also involves working with the manufacturers in China and collaborating with network operators and other stakeholders.

Kvalifikationer• You have a degree in science or engineering
• You have 2+ years of relevant work experience
• You can project lead a group of HW and SW developers
• You know what issues a start-up company faces in development and production
• You are hands-on (not strategic) when you verify technical specifications and assumptions
Personal characteristics
You love to face problems along the road because they make you wiser. You often think that if something is worth doing it's worth doing well. You love to inspire your colleagues with your "do-power" and to-do lists. Most importantly, you want to build a company that can deliver Tinitell's mission to the world, and you want to ask people for help along the way.
