Technical Buyers/Tekniska inköpare
We are now looking for technical purchasers for one of our major customers. If you have the right profile, genuine interest of negotiations and get-go-attitude, do not hesitate to apply for this assignment.
Our customer is a leading company within the automotive industry. The company has various Purchasing teams that are ultimately responsible for the selection of all Cars' suppliers and have the responsibility for the procurement of all production material and services.
The purchaser's role is to provide material to advanced projects, new projects and running production. The right candidate will supply materials and services- to the right quality, in the right quantity and on time - which is the essentials of the assignment.
It is of great value that the candidate has a holistic understanding and strategic way of working. You need to proactively develop and improve the supplier base within a cross functional team. The job will also require a high ability to solve problems in a structured manner and identify opportunities for improvement.
It is also required to develop relationships with global key suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality and delivery which challenges your negotiations skills. In order to be successfull in this role, following qualifications are required:
Qualifications:
• Technical university degree or equivalent. Preferably experience within Supply Chain and logistics
• Experience from a Senior Buyer role (+3-5 years)
• Leading project experience
• Strategic understanding and ability to put knowledge in practice.
• Ability to build and maintain profitable/strategic supplier relations
• Strong sense of team work and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to independent drive and complete tasks.
• Confidence to work in an international and diverse environment
• Comprehensive knowledge in both Swedish and English
• Excellent communication skills
Meritorious:
• VCC purchasing experience
• VCC routines and processes experience
