ALTEN's Technical Direction department needs to strengthen its work package and pre-sales team in Gothenburg with a talented Bid Engineer! Our TD department has the end-to-end responsibility for all inhouse operations from pre-sales to final delivery and is currently comprised of Bid Managers, Business Development Managers and Delivery Managers. Due to our increasing growth, we're narrowing our focus to finding a Bid Engineer who will work very closely with our Bid Managers in our upcoming projects within the area of Embedded Systems.



This is a possibility to become a member of our Business Development team at our main office in Gothenburg. We're looking for someone who has a genuine interest in combining technical and business-related aspects, a person who truly enjoys interacting with our customers and providing excellent service and cutting-edge technology.



ROLE DESCRIPTION
Again, in cooperation with the Bid Managers: leading and coordinating work package and framework agreement bid work;
Assuming responsibility for commercial offers and securing that these are within the framework as established by the Business Unit regarding service area, profitability, and risk;
Securing communication both internally within ALTEN and externally to clients by participating in Q&A meetings and offering presentations;
Supporting Business Development Managers and Business Managers with sales material and reference cases in customer meetings for additional sales of work packages; and
Contributing to sales and quotation processes being developed and kept up-to-date.


REQUIREMENTS
MSc. in a relevant engineering discipline
4+ years of experience in Automotive or other relevant industry domains in engineering or embedded systems
A structured and customer-oriented personality with an ability to follow set processes and work toward deadlines
An interest in sales along with business acumen
Fluency in Swedish and English
