Your workplace
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Your role
Your task is to produce and update the requisite technical information for maintaining, repairing and modifying materiel systems, either produced by Saab or systems that Saab offer technical services for. You will be working in a dynamic organisation and in close co-operation with design teams, production departments and ILS teams at Saab as well as those of our customers, partners and subcontractors.
We mainly produce information in English/Swedish and in accordance with international specifications such as S1000D. The work is done in our internal documentation production systems and those used by our customers.
The position requires a good deal of individual work and numerous contacts within Saab as well as with our customers. You will occasionally be working at our customers’ location both within and outside of Saab.
The task entails, and provides the possibility of, working within several fields of technology and various areas at Saab.
Your qualifications
You eagerly face new challenges with a positive mind.
We regard it as an obvious prerequisite that you have extensive knowledge of MS Office and a desire to further develop your abilities to express yourself in writing as well as describing technical processes in images and text.
You have basic knowledge of technology and understanding of technical applications and solutions. We are looking for meticulous and enterprising individuals with good analytic skills. You easily make positive social connections and you are also characterized by flexibility and customer compliance.
You must be able to independently plan your work and to ensure that you acquire the information needed to perform your tasks. You must have extensive knowledge of speaking and writing in Swedish and English. Experience of Simplified Technical English (STE) is considered an advantageous quality.
You have a college education or extensive work experience in relevant technical field.
Knowledge of military technical systems is also an advantage, preferably systems of high technical complexity.
Experience in XML, SGML, Arbortext Editor and FrameMaker is considered an additional qualification.
You must be able to work at different localities for brief as well as extensive periods of time. You must also have a valid car driver’s licence.
