In the position as a technical application manager you will work with projects, and applications as well as upgrades and maintenance for processes. You will plan, test and deploy applications needed to smooth the business operation. In addition, you will work with network servers and software installations within the team. You will manage and detect errors within the software as well as work out solutions. You will join an experienced team that thrives in working towards automation and working freely towards challenges.
This is a role that suits people with a natural curiosity who are analytical and have a keen ability to problem-solving tasks.
In the role as a Technical Application Manager, you will:
• You join a skilled team of technical application managers, consultants and senior customer support specialists where you will learn new things with your peers
• You will lead installation, configuration, deployment, and release of applications, troubleshooting, and ensuring that the technical systems and infrastructure are operational and maintained throughout the application lifecycle
• Using future business trends and customer needs, you will work effectively and constantly to improve application management
• Additionally, you will provide business and technical advice to customers
To be successful in this role:
• You have digital platform knowledge and experience as part of a service delivery within IT
• Thorough knowledge of Red Hat and Linux, as well as the capacity to carry out migrations and troubleshoot issues independently
• Understanding of and experience with SQL, particularly relational database management
• Knowledge of Java deployment and how to run Java code in different ways
• Understanding of Apache web server platforms and the ability to troubleshoot
• Able to design and implement automatizations through Scripting (bash)
• Knowledge in network servers and ability to self-troubleshoot
• Knowing the benefits and drawbacks of virtualization and containerization with the ability to design around it
• Understand file storage management through ZFS throughout Linux systems
• You have good communicative properties, fluent language skills in Swedish and English
