Azelio is in an extensive expansion phase with recent installations in Sweden, Morocco and in Abu Dhabi. Several MOUs has been signed globally during 2019 and 2020 and two commercial contracts have been signed, in Sweden and in Dubai with installations during 2021. Azelio's award-winning technology has received substantial global attention for its unique ability to store renewable energy and provide affordable and clean power on demand all hours of the day.



We are now looking for a Technical Analyst to join our team, a key role in Azelio's commercial development and global expansion.

As Technical Analyst your main task will be to contribute to turning business opportunities into tangible projects. During the build phase of the company, this means actively developing commercial strategies and business models, as well as determining what strategic partners/clients Azelio should engage with. The latter is done by providing the business development unit with relevant input for discussion into project feasibility with potential clients and partners, as well as acting as an interface between Azelio's technical teams and the clients/end-users in order to maximise the attractiveness of the value proposition.

Your position

You analyze new business opportunities, including new geographic markets, client segments, growth areas and trends, and understand the needs of potential customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these

- Develop good understanding of the company's market segments, products and aftersales services
- You meet our clients face to face, by phone or video chat
- Work with the staff of technical departments throughout the organization to ensure that they are on board and understand the need for change, as well as what is required of them (including traveling to our main sites in Gothenburg and Åmål to exchange market intelligence and get updates about technical developments and other issues)
- Liaise with the finance team, as well as operational and logistics departments as needed
- Build and/or use models like Homer and PVsyst for evaluating potential customers from a business perspective, using multicriteria evaluation
- Help to identify, select and attend seminars, conferences, and events for maximum impact
- Use and update our CRM system
- Support Business Development Managers and Country Directors as needed

Your profile

- Master's degree in Engineering
- Work experience between 1 year and 5 years (you can start as Junior or Senior Technical Analyst)
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Fluency in English; additional languages like Swedish, French, and Arabic is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally. You have excellent phone manners for making initial contact and handling ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Strong IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets and strong ability to analyze sales figures and write reports

You have strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in your area, the ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals. You have good organizational and networking skills.

You will be based in Stockholm and report to the assigned business development manager. You have the availability for international travel (more than 60 days abroad)
