PureBallast - a system developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, prevents the spread of invasive organisms between the oceans. We have a market leading position and since the launch in 2006, we have sold over 2000 systems to ship owners and shipyards worldwide. In the coming years the business in this global and dynamic market will grow rapidly. We are looking for a passionate Technical Advisor to our dedicated PureBallast team. So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
About the jobAs Technical Advisor, you support the key customer with high-end technical support and assistance onboard vessels, manage technical support related to PureBallast at the office and perform technical training. You will do Technical investigation and feasibility studies and will have project support responsibility for initial retrofit orders.
Key tasks:
Support in key customer dialogues for installation onboard ships: Technical sales support, Training, Engineering review, Project Management
Engineering and Installation support to sales organization
Technical support in field test and system testing
Provide information to PureBallast Installation Manual
Participate in internal and external training of PureBallast
Coordinate technical issues in customer projects, act as Project Manager
What you knowYou have deep marine experience and long experience from sailing commercial vessels or working at yard. You have leadership experience and good communication skills in Swedish and English. PureBallast system competence good to have.
