hela Sverige We are looking for a Tech Lead for a new esports company co-owned by MRG and Gamingzone Entertainment
MRG and Gamingzone Entertainment have established a joint venture to create a new community for esports fans with focus on entertainment, news and gaming possibilities. The market for esports is growing rapidly and the new company will have a clear and well defined focus.
The position
The Tech Lead of the new esports company will be responsible for driving, designing and validating (both internally and third parties) architectural decision points and technical infrastructure while developing the new esports product, with a wish to constantly improve and achieve high goals to be the best in its class globally.
You will architect the continuous development of the product, together with the CEO and product owner, and close the gap between stakeholders, partners and development teams by handling technical requirements from project start until reception & evaluation.
As a Tech Lead, you own solution design processes, envision the evolutionary technical development throughout the product life cycle stages and orchestrate the technical development capabilities.
More responsibilities in detail:
be the integral part of product planning and execution, with a creative and goal-oriented approach which enables product-market fit
facilitate product backlog priority setting, effort estimations and design solutions of backlog items in alignment with Development Roadmap
plan and align product deliverables with development teams, package releases and assist the product owner with reception and adoption of new features and functionality developed.
contributing to ensure product owners and the team reach iteration goals
leading/participating in agile iteration meetings
participating in, and improving, the development
keeping technical specifications and documentation up to date
manage change management and assist in certification procedures, where applicable
identify, plan resolution of and oversee platform issues in all product platforms
Qualifications
Documented experience of:
driving technical digital projects for 3-4 years and hold a solid experience of product and software development
mission-critical enterprise applications including support of developments of high-availability, highly flexible and easily integratable products
integration of 3rd party systems and working with 3rd party developers
Agile product development processes and prioritization, and agile methodologies such as scrum, kanban
an understanding of the value of A/B testing, MVP development in order to ship new feature fast to market
working with and developing online gaming and/or e-commerce products and solid software engineering experience of;
React.JS, Vue.JS and similar JavaScript frameworks),
Dynamic languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript, SQL and/or Go
HTML5 and CSS3
Principles of User Experience (UX) analysis/design
convert business value into technical specifications and solutions.
clear communicator in both verbal and written English
willing to travel when required in your role
