Description
Your day-to-day will include launching and expanding on nimble and agile development capabilities, building and securing the development teams ability to take on an end to end responsibility. Driving the development, implementation and adoption of technologies that increase automation across all of IT operations and evangelising the data agenda with the goal of imbuing a data driven approach and mindset to every aspect of Digital & IT business.
You will be tasked with shaping a dynamic, fast-moving organization of highly autonomous teams that can tackle a wide array of technology topics and deliver best-in-class products and solutions at pace.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• Proven experience as a senior engineering leader, ideally with exposure to both world-class rapidly growing technology first organizations and businesses going through digital transformations at significant scale.
• Demonstrable track record as a full stack developer or tech lead, driving significant impact. You need to be up to date whit the latest development practice and tooling
• Experience setting up hiring processes, career growth paths and the right organizational structures in order to attract, retain and develop world-class engineering talent.
• As a sophisticated influencer with great communication skills, you can engage with your audience on a personal level and are able to clearly articulate your vision to both business-oriented and technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Possess a deep understanding of how to translate business goals into tech strategies.
• Excellent communicator, low ego, capable of motivating and energizing reports and peers, with a proven ability to create a highly collaborative working environment
