As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our Verification Area is now looking for an inspiring and visionary Tech Lead with a great deal of experience in Agile environments.
Part of our Seller Lifecycle Alliance, our mission is all about enabling Zettle's new sellers to quickly be up & running to start selling and getting paid. As if that's not enough, our teams also ensure that all sellers' data are screened and verified, from the onboarding stage and continuously during their time with us.
A glimpse of how you will make an impact here
Together with your Tech Leads peers, you will be taking part in co-defining our vision by aligning the technical direction within our organization. In other words, in this position you will play a fundamental role in guiding and helping cross-functional teams to turn our vision into reality.
In this spirit, you will notably:
Be a technical partner to the PM and other stakeholders.
Align team efforts with Zettle Tech Vision.
Have end-to-end system ownership (with architecture and technical direction) (FE, BE, app).
Ensure technical alignment with team's roadmap.
Ensure overall quality and help team set non-functional requirements.
Encourage knowledge sharing, innovation, best practices and continuous learning.
Work with security, compliance and legal requirements.
Build software together with the teams, coding being a key part of your role.

The skills to succeed
Solid experience in developing complex, distributed systems.
Being a good communicator with strong collaboration skills.
Comfortable with leading and driving architectural decisions.
Expertise in working with modern development tools.
Experience working within a full-stack environment is an advantage.
Comfortable working with infrastructure (preferably AWS).
Interested in deep diving into the domain of KYC, compliance and beyond.
Knowledge about application security best practices.
Experience in working within an agile environment.
