BIGHEART is developing digital charity solutions for the modern society. We want to make it easier, more efficient and more fun to contribute to charity with help from the latest technologies. We also aim to make charity donations available for everyone, even if you can't afford to donate your own money. Our first product is a smartphone app that replaces the regular background image on the lock screen with targeted ads and offers. The revenue from the ads goes to the users account in the app and the user can then choose which charity this will be donated to. But this is just the start, we have several other products in our pipeline that will revolutionize the way we will do charity in the future.
So, we are expanding our team and are looking for a developer with a big heart. Someone that is sharing our vision and wants to take the leading responsibility of our technical solution. It will be an exciting challenge to work with a disruptive product and requires good problem solving skills. You don't have to be a super-duper-expert-jedi-coder to apply for the job. We are looking for someone that is a fast learner and who's willing to grow with the company.
To start with you will be working alongside with our experienced tech partners at one of Sweden most prominent developing agencies. You will have plenty of time to get to know the product and gain experience from industry experts. When you have gained the experience needed and are ready for the task, you will take overall responsibility for our products and recruit your own technical team.
If everything works out fine and you would like to continue there is a good chance that we will offer a full-time job and equity in the company.
This is what we are working with:

• Swift (iOS)
• PHP/Laravel (end)
• MySQL
It is not mandatory that you know any of these, but good if you have some experience in any of the coding languages.

We require general experience with developing and coding, but you don't need to be an expert. We are mostly looking for a person with the right attitude, someone who shares our vision and a fast and eager learner. We want you to grow with the company and you will learn all the necessary things during the way. Learning by doing.
We are a remote team working from Stockholm, Helsingborg, Lund, Linköping and Helsinki. We are mostly hanging out together online, but occasionally we meet IRL also. Our current developers are located in Stockholm and the two cofounders are based in Stockholm and Helsingborg.
Varaktighet, arbetstid
It's a paid internship of 6 months to start with. If we are both happy with the collaboration we would love if you want to continue directly or in the near future. Our goal is that you will become the future CTO of BIGHEART.
