In the role of Tech Entrepreneurship Manager, you will, among other things, be involved in further developing the healthtech accelerator DigitalWell Ventures and developing a completely new regional tech incubator.
About the job
In Värmland and Oslo, an international accelerator is now being formed for companies in healthtech, DigitalWell Ventures. The accelerator attracts companies from the Nordic and Baltic countries and is one of the most important investments in DigitalWell Arena, a national innovation initiative to stimulate the development of the health services of the future run by Compare.
DigitalWell Ventures supports talented teams in building companies, accelerating their growth and attracting capital. The accelerator works closely with companies, mentors, investors and the startup ecosystem to create the best conditions for companies with potential to grow. The accelerator is open for healthtech companies from all over the Nordic and Baltic countries.
To stimulate entrepreneurship in Värmland and for more new tech companies to emerge, a regional tech incubator is also needed. Compare leads the development of this new business, which is being developed together with other clusters in various exciting regional investment areas.

Among other tasks, this role includes:
• Coach and support entrepreneurs to succeed with their start-ups in close collaboration with the team, service providers and partners
• Develop, establish and market a regional tech incubator that will support tech entrepreneurs in the early stages.
• To present, communicate and inspire about the activities through both digital and channels IRL
• Participate in and arrange different types of events, network meetings and meetings for different target groups
• Collaborate with regional, national and international actors in the innovation support system
About you
We believe that you are a relationship-building entrepreneur and a doer who enjoys working in teams and has an ability to drive development processes. We believe that change and development are important to you, that you are creative and are good at absorbing new knowledge. You are comfortable with flexible working conditions and have no problems redirecting in the event of changed conditions.
You like to support entrepreneurs in succeeding with their business, are good at analyzing and understanding needs and like to follow companies' development journeys. It is positive if you have made an entrepreneurial or start-up journey yourself. If you also like the principles behind Lean Startup and similar startup methodologies, this is a plus.
As the service has many international contact points and some parts of the work are done in English, it is important that you can easily switch to English when needed.
