About the job
In the role of Teamlead Accounting Controller you will work in an international organization within the chemistry industry. You will have the overall responsibility for all reporting, monthly closures for the Nordic countries. You will be the spider in the web and responsible for accounting and compilation and are the hub of communication between teams. You are also responsible for reporting taxes. The daily accounting activity is done at a shared service center placed in Poland while the Accounting controllers take care of the reporting.
As the teamlead/manager you will have 3 direct reports and 6-10 indirect reports under you. The team is responsible for reporting for 12 legal entities in the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway). You will have the Record To Report (RTR) process ownership and manage interactions with other processes and stakeholders. You will own legal and reporting entities as will be assigned. You will both work on a strategic and managerial level and on an operational level. The Teamlead accounting controller role has a pivotal role to ensure consistent high quality and timely group / business and statutory reporting for a set of relevant legal entity entities.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has a strong background in accounting (about 10 years) and have previous experience of a managerial position with direct reporting under you. Since this company is a large international organization it is strongly meritorious if you have worked in a similar international organization before.
* Experienced with managerial responsibility
* Experience of working in the ERP system SAP is an advantage
* You can work unhindered in both English and Swedish
* Experience of shared service center is meritorious
