We are a team of dedicated engineers developing Signal processing and Target tracking software for radar systems and simulators.
Your role
You will be a part of a cross functional team who together organize their own work. The team is responsible for design, implementation and test of software functionality. As a member of a team, you will have influence on our technical solutions as well as our ways of working.
The amount of software and its complexity is rapidly increasing in our products. We need to be both smarter and faster in our problem solving. We hope that you will be one of our new key designers when it comes to taking our products to the next level.
Briefly, your tasks will be:

Requirements break down and refinement

Specification and development of application software

Integration, test and verification

Interaction with colleagues from various organizations such as system design, integration & verification, quality assurance, product- and project management etc.

Participate in team meetings such as sprint planning, daily scrum and retrospective

Required skills/experience:

Experience from software development
*
Ability to work team oriented as well as independent
*
Good communication skills in speaking and writing (Swedish and English)
*
Bachelor's degree from Science/Engineering/Technology within computer science, engineering physics or equivalent
Good-to-have skills/experience:
*
Master's degree from Science/Engineering/Technology within computer science, engineering physics or equivalent
*
Good knowledge of object oriented programming
*
Experience from Agile ways of working, e.g Scrum
*
Experience of tools as Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Surveillance, a Business Area within Saab, is a world-leading supplier of systems for detection of threats and self-protection. Business Unit Radar Solutions is responsible for Radar in airborne-, surface- and naval systems. This position will be organized within our Software development department for airborne radar systems.
