Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
We are looking for a team member to join the Ocean Cargo Quality team in Stockholm.
The Global and REU Cargo Quality team is responsible for establish, implement and follow up procedures, instructions and activities related to Cargo handling and quality in order to ensure safe delivery of damage free cargo.
Main Responsibilities:
• To develop and establish procedures for cargo quality, handling and securing.
• Development and maintenance of education programs for cargo handling and quality, such as videos, power point presentations etc,
• Participate in and manage projects that the department is involved with.
• Maintain and develop instructions within area of responsibility
• Follow up on survey related activities
• Follow up and administrate cargo incidents and damages with customers, ports , vessel crews and vessel owners
• Provide guidance in Cargo Quality and handling matters.
• Communicate cargo quality matters with customers
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
A successful applicant for this role will possess the following:
• Extensive knowledge of Cargo Handling and Cargo Quality procedures regarding operation of RoRo and PCTC vessels, in ports or onboard the vessels.
• Master mariner with several years of working experience as Chief Officer on board PCTC or RoRo vessels.
• Good knowledge of International regulations governing Cargo Handling, Securing and Safety.
• Excellent team player.
• Willingness to and motivated for continuous learning.
• Interest and ability to work with a continuous improvement attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Structured and good at following through tasks and projects
• Self-going and have the ability to make decisions when required.
• Excellent knowledge in English, both written and oral
