Your main role will be to lead a team of supplier Managers in the line organisation in close cooperation with the Key Supplier Manager. Develop the competences in the team to fit Tetra Pak's future needs and implement the agreed strategies for specific categories.
In this role you will be reporting to the Manager of Commercial Components. You will work across the company, requiring close collaboration with all involved organisations from Development to Product Management to Technical Service.
Main responsibilities
• Drive and take active part in important negotiations with suppliers
• Drive and develop supplier relations for the suppliers managed by the team to maximise the output from the suppliers beyond delivery and quality.
• Drive competence development in your team and lift the supply managers to a new level
• Actively coach your team members to understand and adapt to new and tougher demands on performance, drive and ownership
• Manage the budget for the team
• Drive development of how we work as a professional SM organisation
• Drive and deliver on the KPI's agreed
Qualifications
You have a strong strategic mindset and good understanding of the businesses we serve. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, to create commitment across all involved functions.
You are result oriented, driven and have an ability based on your strong business focus, to keep a holistic view but have an understanding of the importance of details.
To be successful in this position you need to have a strong personal drive and be used to take on your own initiatives and work pro-actively to create results. The perfect candidate has both a strong business mindset as well as the capability to understand technology. You have a university degree and a proven track record in supplier management and experience from leading others.
