3's IT Operations department is responsible for our IT infrastructure, databases and internal IT. Furthermore, our 3 application teams are responsible for the operation of our IT Systems once delivered in the production environment. We nurture a culture where we see continuous improvements as part of our day-to-day way of working and we work closely with the IT Development department to ensure that continuous delivery goes hand in hand with continuous stability, performance and security. We have a strong customer focus and everything we do should bring value to our Swedish and Danish customers.
Now we are looking for a new manager with database experience for one of our teams
The team's responsibility is to maintain our databases, mainly, but not exclusively, Oracle databases. The team is also responsible for the operation of the IT systems used to support our internal business, such as Finance, HR, and our own internal tools.
As Manager of 4 DBA's and 4 Application specialists, your primary responsibility is to lead and develop the team to secure innovation, stability and efficient delivery. This means working towards our common vision, drive change and support the team in their continuous improvement to be best at what they do. You will also be our contact point to Oracle, our main supplier of both databases and eBS applications. You are expected to keep yourself updated with the latest IT industry trends and technologies within your area.
You lead your team with a coaching approach and have a genuine interest in both database & application technologies, as well as a strong will to excel as a leader.
To be successful in the role you have a solid understanding of IT. We think you have several years of technical experience in the database domain, and several years of successful experience in leadership roles. You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
You have an understanding of finance, logistics and HR processes as well as monitoring tools and IT security. We see that you take great interest in the fast changing IT environment with cloud solutions and even more self service applications coming up.
You are passionate about leadership, have a clear and open way of communicating and strong interpersonal skills. You actively listen, and giving and receiving feedback is an essential way for you to build successful relationships with your team, manager and business stakeholders. You need to be fluent in English and communicate well in Swedish. You thrive in a fast paced, social, dynamic, value driven work environment in a multi-cultural organization.
