In-Car Digital
Volvo Cars In-Car Digital Department is looking for two Team Managers with exceptional leadership skills and technical abilities to lead the Display Systems team and the Antenna Systems team. We pioneer the development of our Android-based Infotainment system, drive innovation and help contribute to the delivery of breakthrough experiences for thousands of our end customers worldwide.
Team Manager Display Systems
You will be responsible for leading three agile teams that consists of the engineers developing the centre stack display, the head-up display and the instrument cluster display in the cars. The work is carried out in close cooperation with suppliers and the mission of the Team Manager is to ensure the success for the team.
Team Manager Antenna Systems & Mechanical Integration
You will be leading three agile teams where two work with antenna solutions for the vehicles but also systems like wireless phone chargers. The third team is responsible for the mechanical integrations of all components within the In-Car Digital department. The work is also carried out in close cooperation with suppliers, where the Team Manager has an important role in making the cooperation work.
Do you fit the profile?
The main objective in these manager roles, is leading the team and developing individuals. Technical experience and understanding will certainly help your daily work, but we will look very closely to your leadership skills and personality. We are looking for a senior professional with a genuine interest and engagement in team leadership and personal development. We believe you are highly efficient in communicating with technical and non-technical teams, executive management, partners and customers. In order to succeed well you need to have around 10 years of relevant work experience and experience within people management. You have development experience, preferably in an agile environment and we need you to have some experience with suppliers. Supplier handling and bought service contractual handling in an international setting is definitely a merit.

Location for this position is Gothenburg, Sweden. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement.
