HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. You will be part of HVDC within the System Design division in Ludvika.
We are looking for an engaging and driven person to lead the Tender Management team for HVDC Control & Protection deliveries who wants to grow together with their team and the company. In this role you will lead a team of HVDC Control & Protection Tender Managers working on Tenders across the globe.

Your responsibilities
Be a positive role model for your team and beyond by living Hitachi Energy's Leadership Pillars as a leader which means living our vision, working together, delivering promises, and developing people.
Manage the portfolio of HVDC Control & Protection Tenders, FEEDs and basic conceptual design. Drive the work and processes together with your team to methodically and predictably create tender risk and opportunities lists, deviations, time plans and cost calculations.
Adapting and implementing HVDC Control & Protection strategic initiatives to fit your team, in order to achieve business alignment.
Plan team composition, individual development and competences needed in order to meet business needs, in alignment with internal stakeholders and customers.
In order to ensure quality output, you will take ownership of developing and documenting the team's work processes and monitor process adherence.
Report progress, team activities and tender prioritization requests to Global Manager HVDC Control & Protection and to HVDC Bid & Proposal Managers.
Your background
You have a strong interest, and preferably documented experience in management techniques, developing teams and individuals in order to unlock their potential or a documented background in project management.
As a person you have a passion for people and technology, you are strong in decision making and have the right inner drive and self-management skills to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
You are an engaged, ambitious, and driven person that thrives in a constantly changing environment and who enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.
You are meticulous in meeting customer needs and continuously improve the quality in your work output with a problem-solving oriented and structured mindset.
You understand deadlines, budgetary constraints and have a strong sense of responsibility. You are comfortable with making decisions for your team if needed.
You are comfortable meeting customers and partaking in technical negotiations to support your team if needed.
Proficiency and fluency in English is required since you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world.
Swedish skills would be advantageous.
