In the Hardware & Mechatronics Department within the Unit Connected Experience, we transform ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of connected vehicles - both present and future vehicles. Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking - specifically a passionate Team Manager.
In the ecosystem of the connected experience we provide to our customers we are now looking for a Team Manager for wireless hardware and mechanical integration. Today this group consist of four different teams, Antennas, Wireless HW, Wireless Communication and Mechanical Integration. We develop, integrate and verify hardware for antennas and wireless communication and lead suppliers through development of both hardware and software development. The wireless communication team, together with two technical experts, are working in the forefront towards research and advanced engineering projects to make sure we have the right technology in our cars to provide a seamless connected experience. Today the group covers technology standards for Cellular Communication, V2X, UWB and BLE. We use modern tools and agile methods to continuously create business value. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our development and delivery and of course we have a lot of fun together while doing it.

What you'll do
You'll help the engineers on your team by removing obstacles and supporting them to grow. You'll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership and close collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other teams and leaders. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, practiced a servant leadership, have good communication skills and a collaborator.
The team's tasks will span all the way from being part of research projects, concept studies to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams all across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as product management and business development, and with external companies as well as academia

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced hardware/mechatronic engineering manager, who previously built and led engineering teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration as well as a strong sense of business. To succeed in this role, it's a clear advantage having working experience from Telecom, other Wireless industry or the automotive industry. You probably have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diversed and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs.
