In-Car Digital
Would you like to drive innovation and help contribute to the delivery of breakthrough experiences for thousands of our end customers worldwide? Volvo Cars Driver Interaction & Infotainment Department is looking for a Team Manager with exceptional leadership skills and technical abilities to lead the Release and HW team within Connectivity ART. Connectivity ART is responsible for enabling vehicle connection to everything (V2X), Volvo On Call platform (including remote control services and apps) and digital app content in the car.
In short, these are the requirements for the position:
Key Responsibilities
* Support teams in their everyday work by being present and attentive to their needs
* Challenge and support teams to continuously learn
* Identify and solve escalated team impediments with main attention on flow
* Proactively work with competence development to assure the right competence in line with long term technical strategies
* Guide and coach in agile development
* Overall responsible for your employees work environment
* Actively participate in the management team for ART Connectivity
Qualifications
* Great understanding of Agile principles and SW/HW development process
* Previous management and/or leadership experience with proven results
* High drive for results in a structured way
* Teamwork oriented
* Passion for quality and cars
* Strong verbal and writing communication skills, English and Swedish
* Ability to show courage and build confidence
* Experience of working with suppliers

* A servant leader who inspires others and creates energy
* Self-driven and reliable
* Cooperative and transparent
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in written and spoken English, with technical development teams as well as with managers and business teams.

Recruitment Information
Location for this position is Gothenburg, Sweden. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit. We apply a continuous selection process and the position could be filled before the application end date.
