At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world-class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we're shaping the future - and we want you to be part of it.
About the team
You will join Global Information Services (GIS) - Husqvarna Group's global IT department with more than 200 colleagues across the world. GIS empowers the company through technology, data, and security, ensuring that we operate efficiently and innovate with confidence.
Within GIS, you will be part of the Cyber Information Security Office (CISO), a team dedicated to safeguarding Husqvarna Group's digital ecosystem. You will lead two critical capabilities: our IT Security Architecture experts and our global Detection & Response (D&R) services. Together, these areas form the foundation of our cyber resilience, ensuring that security is embedded in design and enforced in operations across all divisions and technology landscapes.
About the role
As Team Manager for Cyber Defence, you will play a central role in ensuring Husqvarna Group maintains a resilient, compliant, and future-ready security posture. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will manage both people and processes - creating clarity, alignment, and momentum across teams with highly specialized skillsets.
Your mission covers leadership, transformation, and operational excellence:
Lead and support IT Security Architects and Detection & Response specialists, foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and a people-first team culture.
Serve as both Process Owner and Service Owner for our 24/7 threat detection and incident response services.
Drive the evolution of our detection & response capabilities - enabling more effective technology, automation, and end-to-end incident handling.
Oversee key security areas including incident management, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
Ensure continuous improvement through playbooks, tabletop exercises, SOC maturity enhancements, and well-governed processes.
Guide security SMEs in embedding "security by design" across Husqvarna Group's infrastructure and applications.
Set, maintain, and monitor security standards, ensuring they are understood, adopted, and followed across GIS and the business.
Provide security expertise to IT and business stakeholders, supporting risk assessments and strategic decision-making.
Ensure structured communication, reporting, and metrics for both compliance and security effectiveness.
This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across the entire organization - one that shapes how Husqvarna Group protects and enables its digital future.
About you
You are a collaborative and pragmatic leader with a strong people-first mindset. You know how to bring out the best in experts, create shared direction, and bridge perspectives between architecture teams and security operations teams.
You thrive in environments where technology meets strategy - where clear communication, structure, and continuous improvement are essential. You enjoy simplifying complexity, building trust, and driving accountability.
Above all, you bring energy, openness, and a desire to build a strong, modern, and resilient security organization.
Your skills and background
You bring proven leadership experience from cybersecurity, IT security operations, security architecture, or similar domains, and you have a strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, and modern SOC practices. You are familiar with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and remediation processes, and you have solid knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and governance models.
With experience in agile ways of working and a people-centric leadership approach, you collaborate effectively across functions, guiding subject-matter experts and influencing key stakeholders even without formal authority. You communicate clearly and confidently - including in senior leadership settings - and you thrive in environments that are both complex and global.
Location
This position will be based at one of our sites in Sweden: Huskvarna, Göteborg or Stockholm.
With our hybrid working environment, you'll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (around 50%).
Your application
This is an exciting time to join Husqvarna Group - apply as soon as possible, as we review applications on a rolling basis.
Winning Through Culture
We believe that business is ultimately about people - as a team, we win and grow together. Our culture is built on bold ideas, strong commitment, and a shared purpose, creating an environment where innovation thrives, people grow, and every contribution matters.
