The German Debt Collection Department?s primarily goal is to find customer targeted solutions for the collection of receivables. Continental Collection is currently the home of 12 motivated people striving towards being a world leading collection function. The department is divided into two teams. Collection Operations are responsible for all operational tasks including call center activities and common support functions such as contestation handling and payment plan administration. Collection Analytics is a small team of two, focusing on improving our overall processes and policies, analyzing debtor behavior and ensuring targeted actions.

Your mission is to lead the operational side of our collection business. As team manager for Collection Operations you are responsible for developing the operational side of our continental collection business towards a truly professional organization. You will focus on three main areas: process development, team development and performance development. Relating to the first you are responsible for ensuring that the operational goals are met and for the creation and implementation of relevant action plans. Team development endows you with the task of motivating and leading the team as a whole with focus on our working climate and work environment. Lastly, the assignment of performance development requires you to coach everyone to reach their full potential and to do the best job possible.

Success in this role means developing a truly professional debt collection function which does not only meet today?s needs but is prepared for tomorrow?s challenges.

You are a highly motivated, driven and independent person, willing to make a difference. You enjoy realizing improvement opportunities both on a structural level as well as on a detailed level and know how to deal with people. We expect you to be hands on and feel comfortable to carry out projects and line of business improvements largely independent. Also you should know German and English (both written and spoken) fluently.

If you have leadership or management experience than that is a plus. If you have experience from debt collection, that is even better. Also it would be great if you have some knowledge about German culture. Knowledge of Dutch is not required but a merit.
