What you'll do
SW and Electronics Platform is a unit within R&D which for example includes departments Electrical Infrastructure, Common base technologies, Core System Platform, Core system Components and Core System Electrical Integration. The agile ART Common Base Technologies include SW deployment technologies, vehicle platform services, start and electrical energy management as well as cyber security and communications. Common Base Technologies deliveries are common among many ARTs and are therefore important to align for complexity reduction, cost and speed.
We are looking for a Senior Team Manager to strengthen the management team. You will be working with a group of skilled engineers consolidated in three teams, one being the product owners, the other being the system architects and the last group is technical drivers for the products systems of CBT. All groups being senior leaders and important contributors in the operational setup of common base technologies. The team's tasks are to set the architectural framework for the CBT operations, supervise all product developing teams and making priorities according to the ART 's Product Manager, as well as synchronize the ART 's deliveries with the remaining parts of R&D, ensuring a always working system, through the technical drivers of product systems.
In your role as a Team Manager you will -
* Support the engineers in your team by removing obstacles and encouraging them to grow.
* Contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership, prioritization, and close collaboration with product managers, scrum masters, other teams and executives.
What you'll bring
We believe you have a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership and have good communication skills. Master of Science or equivalent work life experience and technical knowledge in the area of Electrical Engineering or SW Engineering. Long experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design, and understanding of hands-on software development.
