About us
Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey to redefine the customer experience in automotive through digital technology and electrification. At the Charging ART, we are responsible for the development of competitive charging solutions ranging from the controls and communication in the vehicles to charge cables, vehicle interface, wall boxes and external energy systems like solar cells, energy management and energy storage. The integration of our vehicles to the electric grid is another key enabler for our sustainability targets, where we can play an important part in society.
The charging communications and interface team is responsible for setting the system design of how we interact with the charging infrastructure, the communication node and the vehicle hardware interface. The responsible technical lead is two Product Owners and two Scrum Masters.
What you'll do
We are now seeking a committed and collaborative colleague, who wants to join us with the primary responsibility to inspire and lead a group towards new challenges ahead. You will be responsible to deliver on our long-term technical strategies by providing the right competence, both by developing existing competence and by recruiting highly skilled individuals. You will drive the work towards a good working environment and help group members to set the right priorities. Also, you will contribute with a strong sense of customer focus and business acumen in management forums as well in co-operations with fellow colleagues, team members and suppliers.
About you
Since you will be working in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment, you must be flexible and enjoy changes. You are an experienced problem solver, looking for an inspiring business challenge. As a person you apply creative thinking to issues and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data. You are a self-starter with a pioneering spirit; resourceful and able to take ownership quickly and reliably. You have an ability to lead through people, listen and coach and you are energetic and truly motivated by creating new solutions together with the cross-functional team.
* M.Sc. or equivalent technical experience
* Experienced in Product Development and our product creation process VPDS
* Documented leadership qualities and experiences
* Swedish driving license
