Epishine was founded on the basis of more than 30 years of research in organic electronics, photovoltaics and the development of our breakthrough manufacturing process within printed indoor solar cells. This unique manufacturing process provides industry-leading efficiency in low light conditions. As Team Leader within production, your main focus will be to coordinate the work in our manual post processing production. The post processing refers to the final steps in our production process before our solar cells are delivered to our customers, with a focus on quality control. As Team leader within post processing, you will be:
learning all steps within post processing to secure a good understanding and ability to train others
training, scheduling, and supervising of our operator pool, whilst maintaining a positive, motivating work atmosphere
being the point of contact for our extra workers, answering their questions and be responsible for the quality control of the modules
planning and leading the work proactively to ensure high efficiency
being responsible for solving problems or handle deviations to ensure that the daily operations are run smoothly
ensuring that the work is carried out safely and according to work environment regulations
carry out continuous improvements of SOPs related to post processing
communicate with relevant stakeholders to be able to optimize the work done within post processing
following up to record yield and other follow-up measurements
other general laboratory tasks such maintenance of the facility according to the daily needs
The role is to be on top of things related to post processing and act as a strong support to our Production and Operations Management. You will also collaborate closely with our Process Development Team as well as with R&D. You will report to our Operations Function Leader.
Since Epishine is constantly evolving, this role will change as the postproduction process becomes more automated. Your journey in Epishine will then depend partially on the company needs, and on your capabilities and interests.
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are a combination of a people-person and a tech-lover! You thrive in an environment where there's a lot of things happening, and you can easily navigate and quickly prioritize between a varying set of tasks. You have experience of managing or leading people, and you have a structured approach to work. It is beneficial if you have a technical background, for example if you have previous experience working with manufacturing or production.
Moreover, you are a secure person who is comfortable managing people, efficiently delegating tasks and delivering feedback in a constructive, positive way. We believe you are a meticulous person with high attention to detail. You are a punctual and humble team player who can drive your own work whilst also leading others in a helpful and effective way. You aren't afraid of reaching out to stakeholders in order to drive your work forward. Since this role will change, you should be eager to develop and tackle new challenges.
Lastly, you have experience working in Office and you can communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing. Swedish is a plus!
