Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance.
Kongsberg Automotive have now started a new Center of Excellence (COE) for Electronic and SW development in Mullsjö. This team will be responsible for design, development and test of the electronics for the full product range within all business areas in Europe. We also work together with our collegues in North America and Asia in a global automotive market.
Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges where electronics is having an increasing impact on our designs. Working towards global customers and suppliers means a great portion of international contacts. You are a part of a functional team that works with the full range from concept studies to product design and refinement of existing products.
Job profile
As a Team leader for the Software Engineering team you will manage daily resource planning in the team working to ensure that the projects get support with the right competence at the right time. You are acting as a mentor and coordinating your team members as well as performing design activities. When it comes to design strategies you will be working very close with the System- and Electronics-design teams to be able to design the electronics for the complete systems. The Software Engineering team is responsible for all SW products like CAN, LIN, Motor control, Pump control, LED control, Sensors, Solenoid control, Displays, etc. working as an integral part of our automotive products.
Candidate profile
• MSc / BSc Engineering degree or similar
• >7 years' embedded SW design experience, including experience on safety critical (automotive, military, medical) design and testing
• In-depth knowledge of Microcontrollers (Freescale, ST, Microship, Atmel, Infineon, etc)
• Knowledge of architectural design, algorithm development and modeling
• Experience with CAN, LIN or similar interfaces
• Knowledge of programming software, including C, C++ and GUI (graphical user interface)
• Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
• Management skills for leading other people; analytic, structured, pro-active, enterprising, target focused, determined, and able to lead and inspire people
• Committed, self starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work.
• Solution and result driven approach.
• Experience from Requirement tools, ISO 16750, IEC 61508, MISRA, Autosar and ISO 26262 or similar is also valuable.
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
