Tetra Pak Processing supplies, installs, and commissions processing equipment as well as provides after sales service to producers of Dairy, Cheese, Prepared Food, Ice cream, Beverage and Cosmetics products. Within this organization we have the Pre-Project Department as part of the Order Fulfilment Capital Equipment Engineering Centre North Europe.
We are looking for a Team Leader Pre Projects that will lead and develop the team for pre projects solutions in the Nordics. Approximately 50% of the time you will work as a Pre Project-Manager.
The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden or Aarhus, Denmark. The job will require approximately 25-30% travelling.
What you will do
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for delivering technical and operational objectives through management of a medium-sized team of specialised managers and engineers with a high degree of competence and knowledge of Pre Projects management and engineering. They will set and define standards under which the team operates and take overall responsibility for the Pre Project engineering aspects of all pre projects throughout the Tetra Pak Nordics organisations.
You will focus on
Develop and implement continuous improvements in the working practices and efficiencies of the team
Drive and implement rigorous quality standards for all aspects of the pre project delivery from start to hand over to the implementation team
Carry out Design Reviews for most pre projects, including adherence to the TP Quality System
Participation and technical contribution to customer and sales meetings
Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant Tetra Pak standards ensuring comprehensive engineering, as necessary, in the design and sale of process systems
As a Pre Project-Manager you will have to manage project quotation activities on specific enquiries within a customer team
Who you are
You have very good communication and problem-solving skills and are able to communicate with customers at all levels and capable of managing their expectations. You have good knowledge of current legislation affecting processing solutions and contractual and commercial awareness.
You have a university degree in engineering and/or Food technology and 3-6 years relevant working experience in a project engineering role with experience of leading teams. Experience from liquid process industries is beneficial. As you will work in an international environment it is important that you have a good command of English both written and spoken.
