The Technical and Commercial Support team provides daily support to subsidiaries, distributors and customers within Roxtec's business area Infrastructure & Industry, I&I. The team consists of different technical functions as well as a commercial function. Together with other colleagues in the Roxtec group, we create solutions and ensure that our products meet customer needs, add value and in the long run generate loyal customers.
As Team leader, you will work as design engineer and lead a team of five designers working with the design of customized products for different customer applications - from identification of needs to the finalized solution. You will make designs, lead, support and guide the team. You will ensure that the capacity, focus and priority will be given to incoming requests. You will also follow up our KPIs for customized solutions and initiate and drive improvement activities in the team.
Designs can include machined and welded constructions, water cutting, steel and rubber materials, etc. You will work in close cooperation with your team as well as with various departments in the Roxtec organization. Interaction with colleagues around the globe is part of our daily work.
The position is an important role in the future growth of I&I and in developing the team to the next level.
The personnel responsibility is held by the department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
We look for a design engineer with passion for technology and with the ability to lead. You feel good in a high-pace environment, and you are flexible and positive towards changes. You have a strong will when it comes to solving problems and responding to questions that may occur. You also have a natural drive for improvement and simplification. To fit into the organization, you need to be customer-focused, structured, be able to multitask and have a humble attitude. As a person, you are energetic, exact, service-minded and responsible.
You should have technical experience and basic knowledge in 3D CAD. Roxtec mainly uses AutoDesk Inventor as tool for development as well as a PLM system for handling drawings and documentation. Your background probably includes a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Speed, simplicity and flexibility are keywords for us at Roxtec and they should feel natural also for you.
As we are an international enterprise with subsidiaries around the world, it is important that you have the ability to understand and handle different cultures. In the position, shorter business trips can be needed.
You will communicate both verbally and in writing in English and Swedish on a daily basis, so it is important that you feel confident in using these languages.
The position is located at the headquarters in Karlskrona.
