hela Sverige SVP Worldwide, the world's largest consumer sewing machine company, is seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader control Software to join the team in Jönköping, Sweden.
SVP Worldwide is a leading company in the sewing machine industry, representing iconic brands like SINGER®, HUSQVARNA® VIKING®, and PFAFF®. With a rich history of over 450 years, our products are trusted by sewists worldwide. We offer a diverse range of sewing machines, accessories, notions, garment care products, and software.
As a Software developer and Team Leader at SVP, you will play a pivotal role in leading our software development efforts and contributing to the successful execution of projects that align with our strategic goals. This position is a unique blend of leadership and hands-on development, with 40% of your time dedicated to team leadership responsibilities and 60% to software development tasks.
This position is devided between team leadership and SW Development. As a teamleader your key responsibilities will be; running daily stand-ups, backlog review, Tech roadmap contribution, tech leadership. You will be an important part of SVP 's next generation Sewing Machine platform.
As a teamleader you lead by example in technical excellence, providing mentorship and guidence to your team members. You will also play an important role in shaping, updating and maintaining SVP 's technology roadmap together with other team leaders and managers.
The other half of this postion is sotfware development with focus on embedded development. You will work with the the development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that align with our organization's strategic objectives. This includes programming in C and C++ (17), working with STM32 microcontrollers, and utilizing RTOS. This position also includes system design where you utilize UML and IBM Rhapsody for system modeling and design, ensuring software scalability and modularity.
Other duties in this position will include linux integration, version control, QA and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our software products.
We are looking for you with a broad knowledge of software development in combination with leadership skills.
In order to succeed in this position you have:
Proficiency in C and C++ (17) is the foundation for efficient and reliable software development.
Expertise in STM32 microcontrollers and STM32HAL for designing and implementing software solutions for embedded systems
Experience in UML and IBM Rhapsody for system modeling and design
Proficiency in Linux userspace development, complementing embedded systems work.
Strong knowledge of Git, enabling efficient code version control and collaboration.
Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Agile methodologies.
