Team leader Application Interface

The department Application Operation is responsible for the technical operation of all applications at Vattenfall. Covering the whole service-life-cycle we are using IT Service Management (ITIL) methods along the service strategy - service design - service transition - service operation to continous service improvement. This requires the combination of a broad IT and infrastructure knowledge with good process and leadership experiences.
We are now recruiting a Teamleader for Application Integration for our location in Stockholm.
As Teamleader for Application Operation you will lead a team of up to 15 internal and external IT specialists cooperating closely with colleagues in Germany and the Netherlands. You will also be an important interface between our IT Supply organisation and our customers in IT Demand.
Summarized your responsibilities are:
• leading and developing a team consisting of high educated IT specialists
• managing and guiding them in all technological, infrastructural and architectural topics
• responsible for a reliable application operation for the IT in Sweden including close contact to the customers and other important organisations in IT supply and IT demand
• develop the team strategy and realize the common vision, being a central established instance for technical service coordination
• establish and support the common process implementation and their KPI's
• develop an appropriate KPI-model including budget- and ressource planning
• develop a solid and reliable instance for operation of solutions for our customers
Qualifications
• Experienced IT manager with skills in leading and guiding multinational teams with international focus (situational leadership)
• good knowledge in IT processes (ITIL)
• Degree in IT science (bachelor / master) or similar education
• excellent communication skills for different audiences with different backgrounds
• Strong soft skills to engage and convince people without hierarchical power
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly self-directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent and competing challenges, issues, ambiguities, and contradictions
• Knowledge of business and technology trends and its impact on costs and pricing
Location of the position is in Stockholm/Råcksta, Sweden .The hand over of the position should start in November/December.
