This role is a full-time position based out of Ikano Bank's headquarters in Lund, Sweden and part of the Central Accounting and Reporting team. The role will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Accounting Manager to secure that the Accounts Payable team is well qualified and informed regarding targets, polices, guidelines, instructions and processes.
• Plan and lead the AP team with its daily work as well as with continuous improvements in routines and processes.
• Ensure that internal controls are in place and performed within the AP team on a regular basis. Establish, supervise and advise on guidelines and instructions within accounts payable processes.
• Develop processes with the invoice scanning system.
• Participate in projects related to AP.
• Provide reconciled AP balance accounts according to closing time schedule.

Skills and qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting or any similar field.
• 5-10 years of experience from working within accounting and the accounts payable department.
• 3-5 years of working experience as a team leader.
• Experience from an international company will be preferred.
• Work experience within a Shared Service Centre servicing Nordic and European entities.
• Experience in VAT principles is an advantage (restricted deductibility, EU VAT, Intercompany transactions, etc)
• Fluent in English and a Nordic language - verbal and written.
• High sense of responsibility and accuracy.
• Flexible, engaged and self-driven with a good sense of humor.
