Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
The Service department in North & West is responsible for Service, Service Sales and Maintenance of the wind turbines within the Nordic, UK and Ireland.
Special Task North & West is responsible for main component exchange and blade repairs across the North & West region.
Located at our Videbæk/Malmö office you will be developing a group of main component and blades technicians. Their primary area will be Sweden & Finland or Denmark & Norway, but tasks in the entire North & West area will occur from time to time.
Responsibilities
As Area Supervisor in Vestas, you are also the team leader and will be responsible for developing the team of your area to meet the requirements of an ever-changing and growing business. You will also play an important part in securing and delivering products and services to meet our customers' expectations. Essentially you will be a key person in the development of Special Task, influence our strategic goals and have a team of 40-45 people.
An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with making effective decisions, has a professional mindset, works well together with technicians and our Backoffice.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will be:
Ensure and support the right safety behaviour and culture
People management of your group of field supervisors and technicians
People development
Ensure team delivers to key criteria and KPIs in Service
Qualifications
Experience from a similar position with people management
Experience of change management, improvement processes such as LEAN and optimization projects
You are experienced in Microsoft office programs
Familiar with SAP and Salesforce
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish/Danish
Competencies
A good negotiator and expert at stakeholder management in all directions
That you are a role model and a skilled communicator
You have good self-awareness and feel confident in making decisions.

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Malmö, Sweden or Videbæk, Denmark depending on your location. You should expect some travel activity, approximately 30 days per year.
