About us
At Environmental Durability, we perform accredited and non-accredited testing according to standards or customer specified test methods, within the areas of climatic and mechanical durability. In our well-equipped labs we have electrodynamic shakers, shock machines and climatic and UV chambers up to truck size. Our customers are mainly in the automotive industry, but also in military, marine, and telecoms. Our project managers support the customers with advice on test plans and test methods, compile quotes and coordinate the testing assignment internally with other parts of RISE. We are growing and in need of leadership within the team of Project management and sales, to help us take this team and business to the next level.
About the role
The department Environmental Durability has grown with new customer orders, new personnel, new equipment, and test labs. We are now preparing for introducing advanced abuse testing in our brand-new SEEL Safety laboratory for battery testing in Borås. In the position as Team leader, you lead the team working with project management and sales. You will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of operational activities. We work in close cooperation with other units within RISE to make sure we deliver according to our customers requirements. Internal projects for investments and development projects also appear in the project portfolio. As a leader of the team, you make sure our project leaders have the right competence and tools to be successful in delivering according to customer expectations.
Please note that this position may mean that a security clearance is required, either later in this process or in the future.

To be successful in this position you need to have a university degree and a solid technical background to understand the operation and our customer needs. Furthermore, you have leadership experience and are a progressive and inclusive leader with an open mindset. You enjoy fast pace and multiple contact interfaces, but you never lose focus. You understand the bigger picture, but you pay attention to details. Self-leadership is paramount to effectively navigate in this ever-evolving technology and business setting.
