YOU WILL
The Asperiq team includes some of the most senior experts in this industry, as well as a number of rising stars within encryption technology and scalable security architectures. Our focus is on our new security network portfolio; developing the devices that implement our scalable security architecture together with the management systems to support their use cases. We have some of the most interesting and demanding customers in the world. We work in teams, driven by customer needs, where individuals contribute to the common goal within their areas of strength, while further developing their strengths in other areas.
In this role you will lead the software development team in Sweden and Switzerland, part of the Asperiq security technology development organization. The position also includes the role as a Software Development Engineer contributing to the product project organization and all aspects of the software development life cycle. Your main assignments will be to:
• lead and develop the team and its capabilities according to the product need.
• build a successful team and be part of the development management team.
• work with software architecture and software development of the Asperiq security products and develop software methodologies used within Asperiq.
• estimate improvement initiatives with regards to technical improvements and perform future-oriented studies together with other specialists.
• depending on background and interest e.g. be involved in other areas of the engineering design, security & hardening, L2/L3 network, interaction & process, hardware & drivers.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate with relevant work experience for the role, both within software development, software architecture and leadership. We expect you to have experience within embedded development and experience of agile work methods, and you like to drive change and improvement. You have knowledge within Linux and/or BSD kernel driver development, application-level development for things that are security or performance critical and C or C++. You have a master's degree in computer science or similar. For the position you need to have a Swedish or a Swiss citizenship, or a valid work permit for Sweden/Switzerland, due to strict security requirements.
As a person you are a good communicator and succeeds in the role of leading people and building successful teams. You are trustworthy, innovative and also still have a great technical interest. You are result-oriented, have the ability to zoom in and out of issues while balancing needs and requirements, and have a high level of integrity.
