Let us describe the challenge we offer

In Group Accounting you are part of a team of currently eight colleagues. The Group Accounting team is responsible for the consolidation of global financial reporting and for providing financial data on consolidated level for Polestar Group to ensure timely, accurate and uniform data to internal and external parties. As Senior Accounting Manager you will cooperate with colleagues in other business units worldwide as you will do financial accounting and reporting for a large Swedish key entity in the Polestar Group. You will be teaming up with two colleagues to secure the accurate and timely closings and reporting and you will be involved in the development of Polestars future finance and be a good advisor and speaking partner on matters related to accounting and reporting.

Working in the Group Accounting department gives you a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within the Polestar Group, working globally and cross-functionally, as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group. You will also work with the core business of the company and combine the accounting with the operational view of the business.

This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg.

What you'll do

• Preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings in SAP
• Reporting in consolidation system AARO
• Preparation and review of account reconciliations
• Improve efficiency in monthly closing process
• Review and analyse monthly financial reporting
• Preparation of Annual Report
• Key person in implementation of future finance accounting tools
• Extensive contact with subsidiaries and shared service center's
• Legislated reporting to authorities
• Treasury accounting
• And other tasks and projects being typical in an accounting department

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

• Experience from coaching and take a leading/coordinating role in the team
• Approximately 10+ years relevant experience from similar tasks at an Accounting Department
• Strong skills in Swedish GAAP, K3 accounting
• Experience of IFRS accounting
• Good skills in Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Experienced user of Finance Systems
• User experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 and consolidation tool AARO is an additional bonus
• You may have previously worked either at subsidiary level or at group level.
• University degree in Finance or equivalent relevant education
• Working in a listed company is a merit
