You now have an exciting opportunity to join Qliro's mission to create WOW-experiences. Our Consumer Universe is looking for two brilliant Team Leads to help us excel in what we do and how we do it and lead our employees to be their best selves.

About Consumer Universe

We are the face of Qliro to any customer using our services and own the full value chain of our customers' transactions; from what you see to how it lands in our backend systems. We are responsible for the full post-purchase experience, from allowing our customers to pay for their online credit purchases and invoices to offering private loans, savings accounts, partnership products and services.

We are structured as four teams, splitting ownership of the different parts of our architectural landscape. We're looking for two team leads, one to come in and lead our front end/ platform team and one to lead our two smaller middle-layer teams. The teams comprise a mixture of software and QA engineers at different levels and the successful candidates will lead them and the team ahead, working closely together with the Lead Software Engineers and the Product Managers.

About the role

As a Team Lead you are operationally responsible for your team and the individuals in it. You are motivated by helping others grow and enjoy coaching and building up a high performing team. You have an agile background, and you are passionate about improving and optimising team delivery using your agile toolkit and will be able to deploy different solutions to various problems as and when we face them.

As in any scale-up company you will face an ever-changing day to day, and you will be critical in navigating and keeping your team(s) steady through change. You are a natural at change management and you understand the importance of tailoring your leadership to different people and personalities.

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for building a high performing team
• You will help the teams develop efficient ways of working to ensure the right balance between quality, productivity and team spirit and happiness
• You will work with stakeholders across the business to manage dependencies and enable efficient collaboration across teams
• You will collaborate with the Product Manager and Lead Software Engineer to ensure priorities are clear and capacity understood
• You will help the team resolve blockers and issues and coach them through problem solving
• You will continuously work on establishing a well-functioning team culture and improving team happiness
• You will coach and line manage 5-8 employees through their professional growth
• You will take lead on team planning and recruitment
• You will support the organization in cross-functional topics both in- and outside your team and domain
• Depending on your background and specialist skills you will contribute to the teams' productivity
• You will contribute to- and participate in Qliros' strategic initiatives

About you

• You have minimum 2+ years' experience in formal or informal leadership of an agile team
• You have a background in product development (for instance as an engineer, QA engineer, product owner, business analyst or scrum master) or have run agile projects (for instance as a project manager or consultant)

• As a person you are passionate, curious, solution-focused
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you'll need to be able to shift between a strategic focus and hands-on delivery
• You enjoy working in teams and see the power in team rather than self
• You are a natural leader with excellent stakeholder management and change management skills
• You are structured and organized and enjoy solving complex problems
• You preferably have a valid work permit within the European Union and are able to join with a maximum 3 months lead-time
• You are fluent in Swedish and/ or English
