hela Sverige Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige AB is one of Scandinavia's most successful education companies. Since our beginning in 1993 we have grown steadily and today have 9 schools. Our total number of students amounts to 4500 this year and the employees to approx 500. We teach Secondary School: grades six to nine (ages 12-16) and Upper Secondary School grades ten to twelve. Our profile is bi-lingualism and internationalism.
In August 2009 we will start a new Secondary School with approx. 400 students in Sundsvall.
Since the school is in the process of being established, we offer you a unique opportunity to take part in the build-up of a new school. You will, within company policy and the framework of the relevant school laws and guidelines, have the opportunity to formulate your own job in co-operation with your colleagues. We focus on learning, knowledge and respect for each other, with high academic standards as our trademark.
Our schools follow the Swedish National Curriculum with 50% of the teaching in English, 50% in Swedish. This requires a high level of proficiency in both languages. Native English/Swedish speakers (or applicants with equivalent skills) are required, who understand the Anglo-Saxon culture of "going the extra mile". You need to be positive, creative, dynamic and hard-working. Mentorship of 15 students is part of all our teaching posts.
We offer a calm and controlled study environment where teachers can teach and students can learn. Careful planning is emphasized to create a safe and pleasant work environment for students and staff.
Positions are now open for teachers in all subjects.
