We are looking for qualified teachers who are willing to take on the challenging task of supporting the headteacher to set up a new school from the beginning. Apart from providing continuous professional development and academic exchanges between our schools, we offer an exciting opportunity to create and be part of something new.
We are looking for qualified teachers in the following subjects:
English
Mathematics
Music
Science subjects
Social studies subject
Swedish
Swedish as a second language
Tasks
We are looking for teachers who have a good ability to collaborate as part of a team, both within the school and later with colleagues at other schools within the group. You need to be good at communicating to have good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management. As a teacher, you have a genuine interest and passion for developing your teaching methods to maximize students' knowledge results. It is important that you can manage and adapt to changes and development measures. We also see that you have a good ability to take your own initiatives because the role means that you must take responsibility for your subjects. For us, you must have good conditions to exercise good leadership in the classroom.
Qualifications
To us, it is of utmost importance that you share our educational vision. We see that you have an education as a teacher. You must have good conditions to exercise good leadership in the classroom. In Nordic International School the teacher is the leader in the classroom and for the education. In your professional role, you are thorough and quality-conscious, take great responsibility, and can run processes independently. You need to be good at communicating to have good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management. As a teacher, you have a genuine interest and passion for developing the school's teaching methods to maximize students' knowledge results. As our school has an international focus, you should be fluent preferably in both English and Swedish, but you must be fluent in English. We see that you are a qualified teacher in the subjects (s) you are applying to teach in. You are required to have Swedish teacher identification. If you are an experienced teacher, you must have a documented ability to develop students' knowledge.

Terms
We have a collective agreement and apply "FERIETJÄNST" among teaching staff and "SEMESTERTJÄNST" among support staff. We will carry out a criminal record check of all candidates upon employment. The start date will be in August 2021. The interviews will start in week 7.
