Stockholm International School - SIS, is the only truly international school in Stockholm that offers education for all grades; K - 12.
SIS began in 1951 as a small Kindergarten class. Today, 62 years later, SIS is a modern international school with 600 students from over 60 countries, supported by an experienced and qualified faculty from over 20 different counties. The study results are at a high level, the international profile is very clear and tangible in the daily operations and school finances are in good balance, which allows well-thought out and ambitious educational initiatives in all three of our school programs. Situated in the centre of Stockholm, SIS is a K - 12 school providing the International Primary Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. SIS is fully authorised for all of these programmes as well as being accredited with the Council of International Schools and MSA of CSS.
