We are looking for a special educator, years 4 - 9. As a special educator at our school you must be dedicated and committed to our students' development academically as well as their wellbeing when attending our school.
The main tasks are:
• Mapping the needs of our students and groups
• Work individually with student/students in small groups
• You have to be available for meetings with parents, students, or colleagues
• Support students in different subjects
• Mentorship for 16 students
• Document in Prorenata
• Participate in the school's systematic quality work.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a Teaching Degree / Bachelor of Education, preferably qualified in Sweden (Behörig) and with additional training as a special education teacher.
The work requires that you are secure in your role, you can work independently and you are proactive. As a person, you have a good attitude and a good ability to plan and prioritise your work. You have good collaboration skills and an interest in working together in teams with different professional categories. Your approach is oriented towards working on health promotion and prevention. You are flexible and find it easy to create trust and good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues.
International English School Sundbyberg is a school for grades 4-9 with 781 students.
